Miguel is an upcoming graphic designer who is interested in illustration, branding, and animation. He also believes that design can change and improve the way we live. Current medicine packaging and PIL (Patient Information Leaflet) designs are perceived to be too complex and densely informative, at the detriment of legibility, especially for moderately visually-impaired consumers. This project aimed to improve user understanding through pictograms and symbols. Through the universality of visual communication, this can help display information in different languages, making medicine packaging more democratic.
