The Monitored Self and the Loss of Privacy

Neala believes that art does not need to be complex in order to stand out. A simple design can also have a significant effect on viewers. The study consists of a set of posters hinting a message for viewers to understand by just looking at the shapes and colours. Each poster’s typography is a participant’s response taken from a questionnaire created to get people’s opinions on what privacy means to them and what is considered a lack of privacy. The aim is to raise awareness about the loss of privacy due to personalised adverts on social media.
