‘At Home and Somewhere in Between’ explores one’s experience and sentimental connection to a sense of home. The viewer is invited to view the work narrated from the perspective of an individual living outside their country of birth. References are formed in relation to cultural connotations and contexts between Finland, England, and Malta. Through the use of reflections on the meaning of home, objects, and personal mementos, the body of work aims to reflect on the duality between the physicality of home, in contrast to the abstract emotions and feelings tied to a sense of home.
