‘CHROMA’ aims to explore the representation of different hues, and their relationship in fashion photography. Throughout history, the aura of colour has been a captivating element in imagery. Advancements in technology, such as Kodachorome, have democratised the tools utilised within colour photographic processes. The primary source of inspiration for the project originates from signature colours in iconic paintings; these convey how the interpretation of specific hues changes depending on the surrounding context, and highlights how a scene should be viewed holistically to understand the nuances of the work.
