Daniel is an innovative functional designer, always looking to design new products which help the user. He is very into travel and outdoor activities and this is why he chose this area for his dissertation. The project designed is called ‘CAMPACT’ which aims to motivate and help families and the community to spend more time outdoors. This camping kitchenette was designed from primary research which focused on users’ preferences and needs. It also promotes environmental responsibility and sustainability, as it also helps the user make use of re-usable cutlery, seperate waste and dispose of it correctly, aiming for respectful recreational outdoor activities.
