Għar Dalam: Integrating design and technology to enhance the visitor experience

Joseph is a conceptual design student who created a new experience for the Għar Dalam site using different strategies to modernise the site and museum. The introduction of a travertine boardwalk, a cafeteria, and a playground will enhance accessibility and the experience at the site. In addition to this, the main exhibition was redesigned introducing new senses such as touch, hearing and sight to make the exhibition more personal. An immersive experience was also implemented so that visitors feel closer to history and see cinematic footage of what Għar Dalam experienced through millennia.
