Brooke focuses on investigating wheelchair user needs in relation to design, and the idea of enhancing the living space within these residential settings. Accessible design, otherwise called universal design, means that the design of the product or space is easily accessible to all people, regardless of age or ability. This concept encourages the idea of wheelchair users living independently.
