Christabel is an aspiring tattoo artist. She has always had a passion for the creative arts industry and chose to pursue graphic design in order to express herself through fanzines, poster design and illustrative design. The primary area of her study is based on the effective use of activism related to feminism using independent publishing (zines). Christabel explores how zines aid with intersectional representation that is lacking in mainstream media. Christabel’s project is based on a feminist fanzine showcasing statements, opinions and experiences from the public using accompanying visuals in order to express the message clearly.
