Elisa doesn’t consider herself a graphic designer, she just uses graphic design as a tool to express her current obsessions. Her work is inspired by the joys in life like film, music, photography, and architecture. Consisting of 10 vinyl album cover concepts divided into 2 groups, her work represents the Eastern and Western interpretations of the same music genres that account for trending styles in album art that can be seen today. This project aims to showcase East Asian design’s popularity boom in recent years through to globalisation of music thanks to streaming platforms, allowing artists to make waves across the world.
