Samantha is an aspiring graphic designer who desires to broaden the knowledge of colour psychology in the art of film making. She has always felt that colours held a lot of emotion and semantics especially when it comes to storytelling. She believes that when colours are used well in a film they can influence a viewer’s reaction to the scenes portrayed. Her project revolves around two famous directors – Wes Anderson and Tim Burton – mostly known for their unique method of using colour theory and colour psychology to enhance their films. She breaks down scenes from movies and explains why their directors decided to use the hues the way they did.
