Dhalia’s collection is called ‘Fjuretti’, inspired by her love for nature. The collection is based on transparent structures adorned with beautiful 3D-printed elements and ‘ganutell’ florals. Her concept derived from the Maltese traditional technique that is incorporated to the modern technique of digital 3D printing. The work is also inspired by Iris Van Herpen’s fantasy creations of transparent, sensual, and pastel colours. Dhalia’s designs are known for their otherworldly three-dimensional garments and commitment to sustainability. In the case of these five different dresses references to nature can also be found.
