Jazmyn is Maltese born with African heritage. The project titled ‘Mauri’ originated through in-depth research of the African fashion chronicle, tribal colours, and styles. Jazmyn designed this mini collection to celebrate the culture and fashion of her paternal ancestors, and the proximity of Malta to Africa. Another aspect that the collection considers is that although the dresses are made in size 8, these styles are also ideal for any other size.
