William is enthusiastic with how electronic music films, particularly live events, use dramatic images to portray the sounds that they create. Research was conducted on various forms of visual effects used to create the film (such as 3D animation and 2D animation), including artists that produce such work. The dissertation project was an equivalent project that involved inspired aspects such as liquid as a tangible object, lines and patterns as a 2D animation, film footage, and 3D animation. The result is an eclectic mix that conveys music visualisation.
