Jayden is an aspiring UI/UX designer with an affinity for graphic design. Within his designs, he values simplicity, symmetry and detail. Whether he’s designing websites, applications or branding, he always strives for elegance and balance. His dissertation focuses on web design principles and elements that enhance access and ease of use through sound and animation, and other digital means. The goal of this study was to discover whether users enjoy animations and sounds in websites. Further more, it focused on why sounds and animations are not used more frequently in websites, and when it is reasonable to use them.
